What if You're Starting From Zero?

  09/07/2021

If you're struggling, please know that algorithms aren't working against you; algorithms help people see more of what interests them. Growing is certainly hard during these times, but it’s still very possible. Here are some organic ways that work to grow online brands.

Website Heading

People's interest in a topic led them to your page. Quickly confirm that they are in the right space with a simple one-liner. Without using big words or jargon, answer the following questions:

  • What do you do?
  • Who would find your content helpful?
  • How are you going to help them?

Know your target audience

Talk to your dream clients. If you can't write down 20 problems your target audience have and how you can solve each, study them some more. You can start with (a) product samples, (b) free consultations, or (c) an introductory price to work with ideal clients while trying to understand their pain points.

Consistent content

Make yourself the resource and go-to person when someone is ready to buy. Pick a posting schedule and stick to it for the next 3-6 months minimum. This way, visiting your page becomes a habit for interested individuals.

Collaborate with industry colleagues

Outside of podcasts, guest posts are one of the least used ways to grow - yet they have so many benefits for both persons. Guest posts give your page a lot of attention, many of whom are qualified leads, and add variety to your content. Consider IG chat room videos, merch, blogs and social media posts.

There you have it. Now it’s time to apply and repeat: simplifying your bio, knowing your audience, making consistent content, and collaborating with other creators.
